He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Pierce and William Pierce; and his wife Carmen. He is also survived by two sons, two grandsons, four stepchildren, and four siblings.
He served on the boards of the Seven Lakes Country Club, Lions Club, and The Foundation of FirstHealth, contributing to the creation of the Clara McLean House, Hospice House, and Cancer Center.
