He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Esker Hill and Georgia Pauline Hill; and his siblings, Kathleen Webb, John Hill and Ricky Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith Hill; his sons, Mike Hill of Rockingham and Pat Hill of Seven Lakes; his grandsons, Jonathan Hill and Jake Cordaro; and his sister Vernie Webb of Aberdeen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Middle Cross Baptist Church (440 Lucas Rd, West End, NC 27376). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
