He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sonderfan and Janet Sonderfan; and his brothers, Richard Sonderfan, Jacob Sonderfan, John Sonderfan and Raymond Sonderfan.
He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Sonderfan; his children, Douglas Sonderfan, Craig Sonderfan, Derek Sonderfan, Mitch Sonderfan and Tracy Goodman; his siblings, Nelson Sonderfan (Marlene) and Anna Muller; and his grandchildren, Landen, Duncan, Knox and Eddie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Pinehurst (7373 NC-211, West End, NC 27376).
