Eunice Lytton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eunice Lytton of Seven Springs, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eunice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eunice may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eunice leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Gurley and Doris Creel Gurley; her husband Earsel "Bud" Lytton; and her son Jimmy Holmes, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Holmes Carter (Johnnie); her grandson Jonathon Carter; and her siblings, Rachel Shade (Shade) and William Gurley, Jr. (Jeff Millis).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pineview Cemetery (2300 Pineview Cemetery Rd, Seven Springs, NC 28578).
