She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Pilkington and Margaret Moore Pilkington; her husband John Lane; her children, Dan Lane and Trish Lane; and her siblings, Donnie Pilkington, James Pilkington, Junior Pilkington, Peggy Tetter and Ann Pilkington.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Lane (Tasha) and Kim L Gurkin (Michael); her brother Linwood Pilkington (Theresa); her granddaughter Rachel Swindells; and her caregiver Carol Howell.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pineview Cemetery (2300 Pineview Cemetery Rd, Seven Springs, NC 28578).
