She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Jo Barwick; and her parents, Darlee Stroud and Katie B. Stroud. She is survived by: her siblings, Geneva S. (Donald Green), Audrey S. (Frank Price) and Dwight Stroud of Kenansville; her sister-in-law Ann P. Stroud Thompson (Roy) of Seven Springs; her husband John Lupton; and her brothers, Roger Stroud and Kenneth (Hilda Stroud). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pineview Cemetery (4224 NC-111, Seven Springs, NC 28578).
