It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel O'Reilly (Shallotte, North Carolina), who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph O'Reilly and Margaret Foy; his brothers, Joseph and Thomas; and his son Daniel.
He is survived by : his daughter Patricia (Alan); his wife Susan; his sister Mary Ellen Francis; his son James (Yvonne); his stepchildren, Cheryl (Daniel) and Michael (Mika); and his grandchildren, Danielle Fiorello, Mia, Addison, Braxton, Walker O'Reilly, Corinne, Audrey, Craig Nakagawa, Chase and Emile Lemire.
He and Susan shared wanderlust for anyplace they hadn't been and had visited 88 countries until Covid suspended future plans.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, in Dan's name, would be appreciated.
