We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 83, Dorothy Raye Martin in Shallotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Martin; and her siblings, Jackie, Boots, Bobby, Shirley, Orval and Oscar Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Jones, Bunchie Jones and Peggy Jones Kearney; her children, Gina Floyd and Dean Dail; her daughter-in-law Kathy Dail; her grandchildren, Andrea Jackson, Rickey Groves, Toni Groves, Tabbatha Floyd, Chris Lewis, Paul Bell, Sarah Bell, Wayne Floyd, Daija, Whitney and Alexis; and her great great grandchildren, Summer, Anthony, Faith, Matthew, Venice, Paris, Tyler, Hannah, Dalton, Jackson, Mason, Taylor, Skyii, Brinley, Skyler, Kurt Lynn, Hudson and Seabass.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Vision Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church (3090 High Meadows Dr, Shallotte, NC 28470).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to New Vision Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, reflecting Dorothy's deep commitment to her faith and community.
