Though Esther may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse B. Williams and Mary Mae Ray Williams; her husband Harry Legwinn Varnam; and her children, Crystal Caudill and William Varnam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra V. Matthews, Beverly Varnam, Cheryl V. Cruz and Mary Ellen Varnam; and her brother Robert "Bob" Williams. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, church family, and loving neighbors.
