He was predeceased by: his parents, David P. Sheppard and Patricia Hill. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Sheppard; his siblings, Kim Knox (Larry Knox), Greg Sheppard and Sheri Day; his children, Chris Sheppard (Lea), Josh Kennedy and Natasha Daniels; and his grandchildren, Haven, Patrick, Nowell and Waylon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Harvest Fellowship Pentecostal Church (438 Gray Bridge Rd SW, Shallotte, NC 28470). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
