Though Jonas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillard Daugherty and Elsie Daugherty (Strickland); his former spouse Shirley Houck; and his wife Joan Williams. He is survived by: his children, Jonas Daugherty of Shallotte, NC, Brian Daugherty of Houston, TX and Karen Daugherty of Winnsboro, SC.; and his brothers, Jimmy Daugherty (Alice) of Jacksonville Beach and Alben Daugherty (Shirley) of Smithfield, Virginia.. He is also survived by His grandchildren have blessed him with 5 great grandchildren, and his step grandchildren.
