He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wilson Benton and Ida Gertrude Wilson Benton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Turner Benton; his son Joey Benton (Rhonda); his granddaughter Abigail Benton; and his brothers, Howard Benton (Lois) and Wayne Benton (Marsha). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
