She was predeceased by: her parents, Genny Prentice and William Prentice. She is survived by: her husband Toney Powell; her children, Lorin, Christian Holder of Durham, NC, Chelsea, Michael Meadows of Leland, NC, Allen-Michael and Summer Powell; her grandchild Hayes Powell; and her siblings, Michael, Jim, Carl Prentice and Shannon Mitchell.
