It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen Alice Striano of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Thompson and Carolene Waslufsky Thompson; and her husband Joseph Striano. She is survived by : her children, Roxanne Lederman of Shallotte, NC, Paulette Denardi of Shallotte, NC, Joanne Mueller (John) of Manorville, NY, Bernadette Carter (Thomas) of Spring Hill, FL and Joseph Striano of Patchogue, NY; and her stepsister Marie Norman of Sound Beach, NY.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
