With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Dianne Baxley (Shallotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. B. O'Quinn and Ruth Holland O'Quinn; and her daughter Kelly Anne Baxley. She is survived by: her husband Doug Baxley; her daughter Kimberly Baxley Smithwick (Ryan); her grandchildren, Audrey, Declan and Seamus Smithwick; her siblings, Patricia O'Quinn Hester and John R. O'Quinn (Jane); her niece Victoria Currin (David); her nephew Matthew O'Quinn (Abbie); and her great-nephews, Connor and Carson.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shallotte Presbyterian Church (5070 Mh Rourk Dr, Shallotte, NC 28470).
