Sheldon Pigott Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 26, 2026, at the age of 87, Sheldon Pigott (Shallotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sheldon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sheldon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Earl Pigott and Della Fulford Pigott; his wife Janice Hewett Pigott; his son Robert Dean Pigott; and his sister Mary Emma Diaz.
He is survived by: his son David Pigott (Teresa) of Supply; his grandchildren, Michael Pigott (Patti) of Supply, Melissa Wescott (Marc) of Bolivia and Janet Little of Supply; and his sister Wanda Nesselroade of Wilmington. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
