She was predeceased by: her parents, Sophie Polny (Chaban) and Basil Polny; and her husband Fraser Acheson. She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Powroznyk and Carla Powroznyk (Martin Strunga); her grandchildren, Ryan Wood (Erin Wood) and Catherine Vassar (Ben Vassar); and her great grandchildren, Carson, Owen, Lucas and Haisley.
