She was predeceased by: her husband Junior Norton; her son Kenneth Earl Norton (Kenny); her great grandchild Megan Rikard; her brothers, Hodges Varnam, Talmage Varnam and Cortland Varnam (Bobbie); and her siblings-in-law, Buena Phelps (Tebo), Ophelia Lancaster (Wilson) and Lucille Butterbaugh (Ordell).
She is survived by: her niece Julia Holden (Susan); her children, James Norton (Becky) of Supply, Wilma Rikard (Freddie) of Gastonia and Regina Lowry (Heyward) of Shallotte; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rikard, Majannah Ramsey (Brian), Eric Brown (Becky) and Jennifer Dixon (Robbie); her great grandchildren, Payton Helton (Case), Hannah Rikard, Haley Cooke (Morgan), Preston Rikard, Kendall Stanley, Kara Stanley, Aubrey Brown, Teagan Dixon, Avery Ramsey, Marshall Rikard, Cooper Brown, Anna Brown, Phoenix Brown and Zayne Brown; and her great great grandchildren, Holden Helton and Haddie Helton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
