He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elliott Tripp and Pauline Russ Tripp; his wife Sylvia Lewis Tripp; his son William Elliott Tripp, Jr.; his grandson William Dale Holden; and his brother-in-law John Chilton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie Tripp Hewett (Randy) and Tina Tripp (Zoey); his sister Brenda Chilton (Tommy Lynn); his grandchildren, Tripp Holden (Gaby), Mallory Caulder (Tim), Tiffany Watts (Chris) and Lauren Bonessi (Chris); his great grandchildren, Tyler Holden, Kayleigh Holden, Augustin Diaz, Drake Long, Lucas Long and Oliver Bonessi; and his nephews, Johnny Chilton (Eryn), Bobby Williamson and Ike Williamson.
