It is with sadness that the passing of Zoya Stefan of Shallotte, North Carolina is shared. Zoya, born on June 20, 1936, passed away on June 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velika Yankulovich and Marko; her sisters, Milica Dudevski and Mara Mangovski; and her brothers-in-law, Alex Dudevski, John Mangovski and Slavejko Aleksovski.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Fitzgerald (Douglas) and John Dimitri (Merry); her grandchildren, Nicholas Fitzgerald (Meghan), Jessica Beddow (Michael), Samuel Dimitri and Alex Dimitri; her great grandchildren, Henry Worth Fitzgerald and Olivia Zoya Beddow; and her sisters, Luba Aleksovski, Menka Ristevski (Peter) and Diane Paunovski (Nikola). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Zoya's memory may be made to St. George Macedonian Eastern Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Road Syracuse, NY 13215.
