She is survived by: her children, Ricky Chavis (Tonya), Beverly Mullins (David), Maglene Jones (Randy), Earl Chavis, Brenda Amegnaglo (Micheal), Judy Woodard (Paul) and Joseph Chavis (Judy); her grandchildren, Taylor, Larry, Melissa, Michael, Eric, Marybeth, Carlie and Cheyenne; her great grandchildren, Harlem, Micheal, Dakota, Justina, Jessica, Larry Jr., Chad, Alex, Dylan, Nicholas, Natasha, Jaden, Jionni, Ethan and Emrie; and her siblings, Hazel Locklear, Jackson Locklear, Harvey Locklear and Jimmy Locklear. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
