She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Wilson and Avery Wilson of Bakersville, NC.; her husband Plez Jones; her son Eddie Jones; and her brothers, Lloyd Wilson, Mack Wilson, James Wilson and Charles Wilson.

She is survived by: her son Phillip Jones (Pam); and her daughter-in-law Donna Jones. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
