She was predeceased by: her husband Lesley Ray Brewer; her parents, Rev. Davis Locklear and Francis Locklear; her brother Willie Locklear; her daughter Gala Lowery; and her grandsons, Tracy Lowery, Jr. and Jacob Lowry.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Hunt (Jacqueline) of Shannon, Cary Hunt, David Hunt (Janet) of Rowland, Tracy Hunt (Angela) of Lumberton, Brenda Collins (Leslie) of Shannon, Lezle Maria Brewer of Shannon, Robert Tyner of Gastonia and Richard McGuire of Shannon; and her siblings, David G. Locklear, James H. Locklear of Pembroke, Joyce Newkirk of Lumberton and Carol Pike of Greensboro. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
