She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bell Forbes and Lillian Gertrude Hernandez Forbes; and her husband James Edward Lane, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Bert Vann Lane, James Edward Lane III (Lisa) and Janis Marie Lane; her brothers, Joseph Forbes and Johnny Dale Forbes (Melba); and her grandchildren, Dawson Tyler Lane, Joshua Logan Lane (Heather), Jenny Marie Lane (Andrew) and Jamie Lee Lane (Jennifer). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
