She was predeceased by: her parents, Audley Cluff McSwain and Eunice Hulda Goode McSwain; her husband Ben C. Blanton; her daughter Beth B. Crawford; and her siblings, Yates McSwain, Lindsay McSwain, Ann Surratt, Vernie Tesseneer, Howard McSwain, Madge Harris, Donald McSwain and Carolyn Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Sheldia Payne (Gary), Jenny Ward (Thomas Earl), Carol Lattimore and Connie Blanton; her son-in-law Tommy Crawford; her brother Bob McSwain; and her pet Ada. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
