With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brandon Rusell Ropp of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Oaklyn Russell Ropp and Harley Raynell Ropp; his father Rusty Ropp; his girlfriend Mary Routh; his mother Bonita Thomas; his brother Austin Ropp (Taylor Ropp); his niece Emery Claire Ropp; and his stepsiblings, Casey, Cutter and Chance. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Brandon's memory by offering grace to someone in need, showing up for those you love, or simply taking a moment to tell someone what they mean to you.
