He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Fender-Michael (John) of Shelby; his brother Bill Fender (Becky) of Shelby; his granddaughter Alexandra Rose Michael; and his caregiver Tonya Star Wallace. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lincolnton Church of God (1435 Riverview Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
