Brookie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Brookie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Brookie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her sons, Brooks Singletary of Cherryville and Ben Singletary of Crouse; her grandchildren, Jake Singletary of Crouse and Tearsha Smith (Cole) of Cherryville; and her nephew Jim Ben Barbour of Four Oaks.
A reception was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home (405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
