He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Cash of Bostic, NC; his stepchildren, Gerry Merck, Debby Mills, Donna Martin and Michael Merck; and his brothers, Carl Cash of Winston Salem, NC, John Cash of Honeyapath, SC, Guy Cash of Sandymush, NC and David Cash of Alabama.

“Calvin Cash was a good and decent man with a big smile and an even bigger heart. He loved the simple things in life and found the joy in every day. He treated our mother, Elizabeth Lovelace Cash like she was made of gold. I loved him for that, and for his kindness and generosity. He loved animals, especially his birds. He was a hard worker, an avid gardener, and an amazing cook. Calvin was always there to lend a helping hand. We are blessed to have known him, and we will miss him always!”
