It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Evans Parker (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Parker; his mother Delores F. Cody (Garland Cody); his children, Jessica Brooke (Casey Brooke), Quinton McCluney and Austin Parker; his stepchildren, Katie Sizemore (Josh Sizemore), Danielle Renew (James Renew) and Brandon Nanney of Shelby; his brother Jimmy Wayne Parker; his stepbrothers, Jerry Parker, Ricky and Steve Cody; his extended family, Dennis Lemmons and Richard Lemmons of Lattimore; and his mother-in-law Margaret Lemons.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to help the family during this tough time with funeral expenses .
