She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Emory and Ruby Hayes Emory; her husband Harold Calvin Spurling; and her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Leonhart, Charles Leonard and Letitia Emory.
She is survived by: her siblings, Steve Emory of Shelby, Ricky Emory of Kings Mountain, Betty Leonhart of Kings Mountain, Linda Wiggins (Larry) of Shelby, Sandra Leonard of Shelby and Tammy Cogdell (Michael) of Shelby; and her brother-in-law Ray Spurling (Wilma) of Shelby. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042).
