She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lyndon Pruett and Isabelle Johnson Pruett; her son Chris Melton; and her brother Kenneth Pruett. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Buddy" Ray Price; her daughter Kim McKee (Ron); her daughter-in-law Kerri Melton; her stepchildren, Andy Price (Amanda) and Heather Wolma (Josh); her grandchildren, Gray Burn (Elizabeth), Maddy McKee, Brayson Melton, Landry Melton and Brock Melton; her stepgrandchildren, Victoria Price, Andrew Price, Hunter Wolma and Elle Wolma; her brother Neal Pruitt (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Elaine Pruitt.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elizabeth Baptist Church (301 N Post Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A reception was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
