He was predeceased by: his sister Angie Pugh. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Lemons Scruggs; his brother Brian Bowman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Johnathan Bowman, Haley Bowman, Casie Fullove, Kristin Pugh, Nicholas Pugh, Gracie Pugh, Malaya, Jayce, Cameron, Colton, Angel, Kayden, Sophia, Zakora, Maddison and Luna-May. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152).
