He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Smart Bowen; his children, David Bowen (Kathy) of Lattimore and Tracie Wray (Jeffrey) of Boiling Springs; his sisters, Judy McElrath (Dean) of Black Mountain and Sherry Justice (Ricky) of Shelby; his granddaughters, Megan Wray Self (Alex), Amber Wray and Sarah Bowen; and his great grandchild Blaire Self. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
