He is survived by: his children, Gena Kinsey of Boiling Springs, SC, Donna Hollifield of Shelby, NC, Kammie Hollifield (Jeff Wesson) of Shelby, NC and Brian Hollifield (Lara) of Surfside Beach, SC.; his grandchildren, Meredith Harmon (Bryan), Elijah Derrell Weaver of Shelby, NC, Manda Fauble (Jeff) of Mooresboro, NC, Monica Bridges (Chad) of Shelby, NC, Meagan Hamrick (Richie) of Mooresboro, NC and Matthew Kinsey of Boiling Springs, SC; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Maddie, Jacob, Summer Harmon, Logan Freeman, Nya Kinsey, Jordyn, Connor Bridges, Janna, Jurnee and Judson Hamrick; his sister Brenda Hamilton (Bob) of Lancaster, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Sybil Hollifield of Shelby, NC and Ivey Hollifield of Newton, NC..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zoar Baptist Church (1740 S Lafayette St, Shelby, NC 28152). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
