She was predeceased by: her parents, Abb Sylvester Spangler and Mittie Warlick Spangler; her sisters, Ruth Spangler Dedmon and Sadie Spangler Wright; and her spouse Talmadge Carl Dedmon.
She is survived by: her children, June Dedmon Yarboro (Ed Yarboro) and Richard Carlson Dedmon (Jan Fesperman Dedmon); her brother James C. Spangler (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Bonnie, Stephanie Yarboro, Will Dedmon (Leigh Ervin) and Molly Goodson (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Pless, Stewart Dedmon, Thomas and Elliott Goodson.
