She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest A. Davis and Nettie Morrison Davis; her husband Paris Hoyle; and her siblings, Germaine Davis, Fannie Lue Pritchard, Forrest A. Davis, Jr., Benjamin F. Davis and Mary Sue Davis Haag.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah Davis Boggs of Fallston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that charity considerations be made in Dorothy's name to Lawndale Methodist Church, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
