She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Graham Patton Sr. and Florance Ellen Reed Patton; and her siblings, Helen Smith, Horace Patton Jr. and Robert Patton.
She is survived by: her husband Carmie William Grigg; her daughters, Wanda Brackett (Jamie) of Shelby, NC and April Grigg of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Emily Greene (Jacob) of Shelby, NC, Kayla Brackett of Shelby, NC and Alex Brackett of Shelby, NC; her siblings, Leatha Tripp of Marion, NC, Johnny Patton (Debbie) of Marion, NC, James Patton (Mary Jane) of Taylorsville, NC, Paul Patton (Donna) of Hickory, NC, Kenneth Patton (Jean) of Glen Alpine, NC and Steve Patton (Carolyn) of Glen Alpine, NC; and her sister-in-law Delores Patton of Nebo, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory (2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28150).
