He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Falls Bridges; his children, Kimberly Bridges, Kristin Summer (Shane) and Kyle Bridges of Shelby; his siblings, Frances Burnham (Denny), Eddie Bridges (Cindy) of Shelby and David Bridges of Shelby; and his grandchildren, Bailey Bridges, Rylee Summer, Mattie Abernathy, Gavin Stelma, Brock Abernathy and Allie Summer.
