He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andy Gibson and Sarah Jane Glascoe; and his sister Mary Jane Misle. He is survived by: his wife Beth Gibson; his daughter Amy Bushnell (Bob) of Alaska; and his grandchildren, Allison, Breanna, Kiah and Jaxon Bushnell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ross Grove Baptist Church (1225 Fallston Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
