She is survived by: her husband Linzy; her son Jonathan Cooper (Margaret) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Zachary and Lauren Cooper; her brother Gary Hardin Whitaker, Sr. (Trena) of Shelby; and her extended family, Celia, Daryl, Anita, Rodney and Betty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
