He was predeceased by: his parents, George Theodore Pasour and Earsie Grigg Wood; his son Glenn Paysour; his grandchildren, Brooke Paysour and Adam Kale Wood; and his brothers, George Jr., Jerry and Donnie Paysour.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Bridges Paysour; his son Guy Dean Paysour II (Debbie); his stepchildren, Tammy Ramsey (Trey), Tony Wood (Sarah) and Bobby Wood (Suzy); his grandchildren, Christopher Glenn Paysour II, Erika Phillips, Julie Paysour, Hannah Thompson, Hayden Wood, Drew Wood, Alex Ramsey, Emily Bradley, Michelle Cook, Susan Dixon, Chris Thomasson and Isaac Holt; and his close friends, Jerry Stacy (Juanita) and Tommy Rucker (Cheryl). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
