He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Huffman Jr. and Faye Black Huffman; his son Gregory Huffman; and his sisters, Joan Evans, Betty Ann Richards, Margaret Wylie and Peggy Gantt.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Knight Huffman; his sons, Mark Huffman (Debbie) of Earl, NC and Kelly Huffman (Jenny) of Earl, NC; his stepchildren, Susie Nelson (Buddy) of Laurens, SC and James R. Hughes of Fountain Inn, SC.; his grandchildren, Noah Huffman, Wesley Huffman, Chris Huffman, Jennifer Short and Amanda Weedon; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlynn Bridges (Drake) and Robert Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Sky Huffman, Sage Huffman, Ben Short and Stevie Short Jr. Each.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (2621 1 Blacksburg Rd, Grover, NC 28073). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
