She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Albert McDowell and Sigrid Anderson McDowell. She is survived by: her husband Steve Harrington of Boiling Springs, NC; her daughter Tori Beth Crenshaw (Colton) of Lancaster, SC; her sister Carol Sowder (Mike) of Floyd, VA; her nephews, Cullen Sowder and Marcus Sowder (Valerie); her great-niece Chloe Sowder; and her great-nephew Leaf Sowder.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cecil Burton Funeral Home (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shelby Presbyterian Church (226 E Graham St, Shelby, NC 28150). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Cleveland Memorial Park (1225 College Ave, Shelby, NC 28152).
