She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Charles Priehs and Owna Bell Ross Priehs; her husband John Buford Jarrett; and her sister Mildred Jean Rickett (Priehs). She is survived by : her daughters, Diane Mohundro (Jim) of Huntersville, NC and Martha Summers (Mark) of Cornelius, NC; and her grandchildren, Tyler Hayes of Denver, CO and Kayla Hayes of Charlotte, NC..

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150-4208).
