He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Crotts and Lucy Hoyle Crotts; and his wife Linda Crotts. He is survived by: his sons, James Michael Crotts (Wendy), Scott Trammel (Tammy) and David Trammel (Dana); and his brother Joe Crotts. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
