She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Thomas and Mabel Edwards Harden; and her former husband Jack Lane Yarboro, Jr. of Wilmington. She is survived by: her husband William Victor "Vic" McCord of Shelby; her sister Annette Marie Harden Connor of Sumter, SC; her children, Jonathan Yarboro (Felicia) of High Point, NC and Anna Yarboro Ramsey (David) of Boiling Springs, NC; her grandchildren, Maria Annette Ramsey of Jacksonville, FL, Olivia Ramsey Byars (Colt) of Gaffney, SC, Katherine Yarboro Garner (Tanner) of Thomasville, NC and Logan Thomas Ramsey (Shelby) of Boiling Springs, NC; and her great grandchildren, Graham Byars and Kyla Garner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wendover Hospice Shelby, 953 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150, or to Mercy Hill Church Missions, supporting the spread of the Gospel through missionary work around the world, a cause that was especially dear to her heart.
