As Joe departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joe may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joe leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Regina A. Coley; his daughters, Kara Wooten (Stefan Gatlin) and Kammie Kale (Jason Kale); his brother Scott Coley (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Riley, Lukas Kale, Haydn Wooten and Haylee Miller (Layton Miller).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Double Shoals Baptist Church (318 Old Mill Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
