He was predeceased by: his parents, Sharon Watkins and Ted Watkins; his daughter Jennifer Mullinax; and his grandparents, Joe, Hester Watkins, Wayne and Gloria Beam.
He is survived by: his wife Tamala Blair Watkins; his daughters, Sarah Markling (Jim) and Kersee Littlejohn (Tracy) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Aiden Markling, Sentez, Thurman, Za'neven Littlejohn, Za'liyah Littlejohn and Nyla Ross; his siblings, Donna Putnam (Darrell) of Kings Mountain, Crystal Russ (Clint) of Fallston, Gary Watkins (Dewanna) of Dallas and Darrel Butler (April) of Shelby; and his sisters-in-law, Deborah Blair, Katrina Blair, Terry Blair, Pamela Peachz London, Olivera Shaw (Jermain) and Carol Washington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
