She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bo" Smith Jones; her parents, John "Ed" Edmundson and Mary Elizabeth Rowe Edmundson; her sister Nancy E. Taylor; and her brother-in-law Charles R. Taylor Sr..
She is survived by: her nephew John Russell Taylor (Desiré); her great-niece Isabella; her great-nephew William; her nephew Charles Robert Taylor Jr.; and her stepchildren, Wendall Jones, Mark Jones (Betsy) and Regina Pitman (Curt). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (1106 Poplar Springs Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152).
